Terms of Service

The Death Valley Oak Barrel Society (the “Society”) is a quarterly membership program operated by R & N Mart LLC / Tobacco and Liquor Express, a licensed liquor retailer in Pahrump, Nevada (the “Store”). By requesting to join, enrolling, or using deathvalleyoakbarrelsociety.com (the “Site”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or enroll.

Membership is open only to adults aged 21 or older. Your date of birth is verified at enrollment, and a valid government-issued photo ID is required at every in-store pickup. The Store may refuse service as permitted by law. Membership is invitation-based and capacity-limited; submitting an interest request does not guarantee a membership.

A membership term is one calendar quarter. Memberships never renew automatically. Continuing into a new quarter requires manual re-enrollment and payment before the new quarter begins; we send a reminder approximately one month before your renewal deadline. A lapsed quarter ends tier benefits, including permanent forfeiture of a numbered glass (Section 7).

Current pricing per quarter: Basic $50, Standard $150, Premium $200. All displayed prices include tax. Each tier’s benefits are described on the Site’s pricing section; in summary, Basic is a tasting-glass membership with no bottle allocation and no drawing eligibility, while Standard and Premium include the quarterly bottle allocation and drawing eligibility. Pricing and benefits may change between quarters; changes never apply retroactively to a quarter you have already paid for.

• The quarterly Private Barrel (store pick) bottle is a mandatory part of Standard and Premium membership — it cannot be declined or swapped.
• The Featured Bottle requires your explicit choice each quarter: accept the bottle or take store credit (Section 6).
• If a store pick’s value exceeds $150, the difference is shown to you in advance and must be paid before the bottle is confirmed.
• Bottles must be picked up in person at the Store within 30 days of the announced pickup date. Unclaimed bottles are forfeited after the window closes.
• Alcohol is never shipped. All alcohol is furnished exclusively at the Store’s licensed premises to members aged 21+ with valid ID.

Store credit issued in place of a Featured Bottle is capped at $150 per declined bottle, expires 30 days after issuance, and does not roll over between quarters. Credit applicable to liquor products (beer and spirits) only. Credit has no cash value and cannot be transferred.

The quarterly drawing is open to active Standard and Premium members, one entry each, drawn at random with an audited, timestamped record. Drawing winners receive the right to purchase at MSRP. MSRP pricing is a member-only privilege and is not available to the general public. Winning confers no free product.

Numbered tasting glasses (Basic and Premium tiers) are a limited inventory assigned one per member. A numbered glass is permanently forfeited on any lapsed quarter, with no grace period, and its number may be reassigned.

Membership fees are due at enrollment or re-enrollment and are payable before the quarter’s benefits begin. Except where required by law, membership fees are non-refundable once the quarter has started. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@deathvalleyoakbarrelsociety.com and we will review it.

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You agree not to misuse the Site — including attempting to access other members’ data, interfering with drawings or allocations, or reselling membership benefits. The Store may suspend or terminate a membership for violation of these terms or unlawful conduct; terminations for cause are not refunded.

The Site, its design, and the Society name and marks belong to the Store or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission. Photos you upload remain yours; by uploading, you grant the Society permission to display them on the platform as described in the Privacy Policy (RSVP lists and winner announcements).

The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Store’s total liability arising out of the Site or the program is limited to the membership fees you paid for the current quarter, and the Store is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Please enjoy bourbon responsibly.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Nevada, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

We may update these terms between quarters. The current version is always posted here with its effective date, and material changes will be announced to active members by email. Re-enrolling for a new quarter constitutes acceptance of the terms in effect at that time.
